Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Huntsville, AR seeks a Production Coordinator to support Manufacturing by coordinating the movement of aircraft parts through the production cycle.

The role partners with Planning and Manufacturing to ensure timely part status, accurate dispatches, and availability of materials, tools, and blueprints for each new job. Strong communication and ERP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Aptitude to create a more efficient manufacturing environment with improved material availability and status.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Windows and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Closely work with Manufacturing to verify correct jobs are being worked.
• Closely work with planning to assist in timely and accurate part status.
• Process non-conforming parts (MRRs) and assist in closure/management.
• Facilitate Cycle Counts.
• Review Daily Dispatch List for errors and accuracy against jobs in work.
• Ensure all material, blueprints, tools, NC tapes, etc. are available to manufacturing at the start of each new job.
• Monitor all Material Review Request activity within assigned work area.
• Coordinate with Production Activity Control on all activity within assigned work area to ensure accuracy of the Daily Dispatch List.
• Coordinate with previous/next work area coordinator to ensure movement of Work Orders and any required transportation.
