Job summary

Ducommun operates a facility in Huntsville, AR, seeking a Master Scheduler to drive a standardized planning process and produce a balanced, achievable production plan in collaboration with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Finance.

The role focuses on adherence to planning horizons, capacity modeling, and cross‑functional coordination to meet demand with optimal inventory use. Aerospace/materials knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ERP/MRP experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of supply chain and planning experience.
• Aerospace or electronic component manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain master schedule and assist in daily production schedules.
• Develop/maintain capacity model inputs and outputs.
• Ensure capacity is level loaded to meet demand.
• Coordinate work and provide direction to Production Schedulers.
• Develop metrics to measure manufacturing performance against schedules.
• Provide inventory projections and identify service level issues.
• Coach Production Schedulers as needed.
• Conduct gaps and postmortem analyses between forecasts and actuals.
• Focus on continuous improvement in materials management.
• Protect and manage CUI; support ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Support visitors and security policies; handle hazardous waste.
• Regular attendance is an essential function.
