Job summary

Astronics-PECO in Clackamas, Oregon is hiring a Production Associate for the 3pm-11:30pm swing shift. This entry level role offers growth opportunities and exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, install components, inspect parts, and prepare items for shipment while using precision measuring tools and hand tools. A forklift license may be pursued after joining.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and production procedures to form a complete unit.
• Set-ups required on production equipment and machinery.
• Fitting and installing heli-coils, pins, bearings, screws and other parts.
• Hand cleaning, sanding to remove burrs and adjust shapes.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and operate common measurement tools.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and procedures for production.
• Perform set-ups on equipment and machinery for production runs.
• Install components and fasteners as specified.
• Inspect surfaces, make adjustments for quality and fit.
• Wrap, pack, and label product for final shipment.
• Operate calipers, micrometers, gauges and measuring devices.
