Job summary

Astronics PECO is seeking production assemblers for its aerospace assembly team in Clackamas, Oregon. This entry-level role offers a day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday) with opportunities to learn and grow within a highly engineered production environment.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and work with drilling presses, rivet machines, and robotic equipment to assemble components that meet strict specifications. Safety and quality are emphasized throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to form a complete unit.
• Comfort with lifting up to 30 lbs during the workday.
• Ability to read directions verbally, in diagrams, or on a schedule.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a computer to track work in MRP.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and procedures to assemble parts.
• Position, align and level parts using locating tools or positioners.
• Assemble parts with screws, bolts, rivets, or solder with hand/ power tools.
• Operate drills, presses, robotic equipment, and other assembly machinery.
• Calibrate parts to specifications and seal joints using adhesives.
• Inspect final products for defects and rework as needed.
• Enter and retrieve information in a computer/MRP system.
• Work safely and adhere to quality standards.
