Job summary

Astronics PECO in Clackamas, Oregon, is seeking entry-level Production Assemblers for our aerospace assembly team on day shift, 7am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday. This role offers growth opportunities and requires basic math, blueprint reading, and comfort with hand tools.

You will read blueprints, assemble parts with screws, rivets, and solder, and operate various machines and robotic equipment. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required; EEO statement included.

Qualifications

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures.
Perform basic math to support assembly.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
Capable of using a computer to track work in MRP.
Read and follow spoken or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to assemble units.
Position, align, and level parts in fixtures or machine positioners.
Assemble parts using screws, bolts, rivets, or solder with hand and power tools.
Operate drill presses, riveting machines, robotic equipment, and related tools.
Calibrate parts to specification and seal joints as required.
Inspect final products for defects and rework as needed.
Enter and track work in MRP system.
