Job summary

Astronics PECO in Clackamas, Oregon, is seeking an industrial painter to join the team on the swing shift (11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday). This is a union position with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, pension, paid vacation, and 11 holidays.

You will mix paint, spray finish parts, maintain PPE and paint booth, document usage and materials, read blueprints and customer specs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while complying with environmental rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industrial painting experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and read blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic math computations.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Select and mix paint and spray finish parts.
• Wear airline hood and full suit.
• Maintain and document PPE.
• Maintain paint booth.
• Document paint usage.
• Dispose of paint media per regulations.
• Clean spraying equipment and brushes.
• Attend Quality Manual Standards training and apply standards.
• Observe safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Report to work on time and work an 8-hour shift.
