Job summary

Astronics LSI is seeking a production assembler to join our manufacturing teams, building lighting and panels for aerospace customers. The role offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and a longer weekday shift, no weekends, plus a 90-day probation with a path to full-time benefits after conversion.

You’ll work on safety-compliant procedures, read blueprints, and participate in lean initiatives to support continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, blueprints, and compliance documents.
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and dexterity for handling materials.
• Attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication with team members in production settings.

Responsibilities

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret safety rules, work instructions, blueprints, compliance documents.
• Able to understand a variety of measuring devices (e.g., rulers, eye loop, digital scale, thickness gauges).
• Soldering proficiency and understanding of the process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment per maintenance plans.
