Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a production assembler to build electronic components and assemblies in a modern facility. You will perform soldering, assemble microelectronics, and ensure adherence to build documentation and quality standards.

The role requires reading drawings, following procedures, and collaborating with engineers and technicians. Occasional travel and second shift may be required where applicable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4 years of assembly or electronic experience; or an associate degree in an electronic or technical discipline.
Experience soldering at a Class 2 level.
Experience reading/writing from written directions and drawings.
Ability to move objects up to 40 pounds.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components using drawings and aids to meet customer requirements.
Perform soldering and assembly including microelectronics, BGA rework and repair.
Follow industry and company standards for assembly work.
Record production data in travelers and shop floor systems.
Collaborate with technicians, engineers and supervisors to clarify build instructions.
