Job summary

Rocketdyne is seeking a Specialist, Procurement to execute sourcing for raw materials, components, and services supporting defense and aerospace programs. You will manage supplier selections, pricing analyses, PO administration, and performance monitoring to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure regulatory compliance and timely delivery, including handling deviations and changes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years procurement experience; graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years work experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in defense/aerospace or other highly regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute procurement for raw materials, components, and services in defense/aerospace programs.
• Solicit and analyze supplier quotations to meet cost objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers per policy.
• Administer purchase orders and resolve discrepancies through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous process improvements.
