Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems’ Raw Material Commodity Purchasing Team seeks a skilled purchasing professional to synchronize the supply chain for metals and materials. The role interfaces with internal/external customers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities include drafting RFQs, evaluating supplier bids, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders, with a focus on aerospace manufacturing excellence at Kansas-based operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supply chain role, aerospace/manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to analyze data and derive insights.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Energetic, dynamic personality capable of driving change.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop RFQs, analyze responses, negotiate contracts.
