Job summary

RTX is seeking a Procurement & Material Specialist in Burnsville, MN to support manufacturing from a procurement perspective. You will lead Plan for Every Part events, approve Change Orders, monitor inventory, and review BOMs and SAP transactions.

Ideal candidates have a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience (3 years with advanced degree). Knowledge of SAP, BOMs, and data analysis with MS Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years relevant work experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships across production planning, manufacturing, MPS planning, and procurement to anticipate material constraints.
• Meet the Manufacturing Flow Inhibitor goal set by procurement for the site.
• Maintain a number of reports for management to monitor performance and inform decisions.
• Monthly disposition of excess inventory after review and concurrence with program management and manufacturing.
• Monitor quarantined material and accelerate disposition of rejected material.
• Develop cross-site networks within Collins Aerospace.
• Develop strategies to improve procurement and site performance.
• Lead Plan for Every Part events with cross-functional teams.
