Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Buyer/Procurement Analyst in Lexington, KY to manage material movement from planning to delivery. You will work with engineering and production to determine requirements and ensure cradle-to-grave procurement processes are followed.

Candidates should have strong data analysis skills, cost optimization experience, and proficiency with Excel including V-lookups. This is a contract position with potential extension and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR).
• Experience with procurement from cradle to grave.
• Strong data analysis and cost optimization skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and V-lookups.

Responsibilities

• Source, plan, and schedule movement of materials through production and inventory.
• Identify raw material, component, and related requirements from engineering and production specs.
• Ensure all materials move through the procurement process cradle to grave.
• Plan and coordinate material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences.
• Analyze data to determine factors affecting prices and lowest cost while meeting schedules.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and engineering to ensure procurement needs.
• Support invoicing and accounts payable, and advance vendor relations.
