Job summary

Figeac Aero North America, Inc is seeking a Processing Shop Helper to join our Wichita, KS team. This full-time hourly role supports the processing manager with loading, staging, and transporting materials, while ensuring safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

The candidate will assist with inventory organization, tools, and production tasks, while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards. Training for forklift/crane operations will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret job orders and safety rules.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic reading/comprehension of maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and collect residual shot peen on the processing floor.
• Secure and organize storage of shot peen materials.
• Stage, prepare, and load materials for production.
• Assist with safe operations and PPE usage.
• Support higher skilled personnel as needed.
• Move and stage materials and finished products around the facility.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and organized tools.
• Operate forklift or overhead crane as trained.
• Deliver parts to work areas and assist with maintenance as required.
