Job summary

Figeac Aero North America, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Wichita, Kansas.

This full-time, hourly position reports to the Processing Manager and offers pay ranging from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, with Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Responsibilities include trimming and assembling airframe components, reading blueprints, using hand tools and precision measuring devices, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years prior work experience in airframe assemblies.
• High School Diploma required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and maintain attendance.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, routing, assemble, disassemble, and rework aircraft structures using hand tools and electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Utilize skills in sheet metal, riveting, assembly methods and common shop practices.
• Inspect assemblies and airframe structures for non-conformance and report discrepancies.
• Read, interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow safety requirements.
