Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS is seeking a manufacturing associate to support production across multiple stations. This role focuses on assembling and processing aircraft components using hand and precision tools, following prints and specs, and maintaining quality through self-inspection and basic equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities include hand tooling, deburring, light forming, and supporting continuous workflow on the shop floor while meeting safety and union guidelines; candidates

Qualifications

• , must be respirator certified.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for 7+ hours per day.
• All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift, including alternative work weeks.

Responsibilities

• Use hand equipment to complete and process work assignments
• Perform pickup, rework and incorporate changes to the product as required
• Work from prints, sketches, specifications and written/verbal information
• Maintain certifications, licenses or permits as required
• Operate precision measuring equipment for self-inspection of in-process and finished work
• Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily duties
