Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Raw Materials Handler- Warehouse Worker to perform cycle counts, shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory daily activities. You will support production operations and uphold our quality and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a forklift, unpacking crates, processing transactions, and assisting with vendor communications as needed. A high school diploma and 1–3 years’ related experience are required; valid forklift license

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; pre-employment assessment for those without.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to complete all job duties and interact with all employees, customers, vendors in line with company values.
• Must be able to obtain Sonaca North America Forklift License and a valid driver's license; clean background.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cycle Counts, Shipping, Receiving, Delivery and Inventory daily departmental activities
• Follow all applicable SP’s, QAP’s, and procedures
• Load/Unload trucks using fork truck, pallet jack, and/or hand truck as needed and according to safety regulations
• Unpack crates and boxes, check items for accuracy and damage and document accordingly
• Accurately process all job scope system transactions related to Shipping, Receiving, and bin transferring
• Assist with production operations as needed; materials to the shop in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintenance of Shipping and Receiving files
• Assist with receipt of customer returns per QAP/SP
• Monitor and revise weekly I50 report
• Perform Lean and 6S functions in your area daily
• Drives delivery truck as needed to collect and track paperwork and deliveries
• Other duties as assigned
