Pratt & Whitney in Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a manufacturing technician to monitor processes, perform maintenance, and assemble parts for advanced aerospace components. The role is onsite with first shift hours, supporting experimental designs and process improvements in a high-precision environment.

Requires a HS diploma with 2+ years of experience and MS Office proficiency. Preferred AA/AS degree and background in manufacturing or aerospace; ISO/AS9100 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must have experience with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Monitor processes, perform regular maintenance, mechanical assembly, and support experimental designs to improve operations.
• Work onsite during first shift, contributing to manufacturing of aerospace components.
• Operate industrial systems including vacuum furnaces, vacuum pumps, gas control systems, and pollution control equipment.
• Load production systems with numerous parts per documented configuration.
• Perform regular maintenance and mechanical assembly per drawings and specifications.
• Monitor processes and respond to alarms or issues for resolution or escalation.
• Program equipment to adjust settings for new processes.
• Maintain documentation for the production process.
