Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a seasoned Process/Manufacturing Engineer to lead the WPB F135 PME team. You will develop and maintain detailed work instructions for disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of engines and modules, while ensuring accurate data interpretation and timely work scope definitions.

You will drive standard work, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvements, coordinating with operations to provide timely technical assistance and leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with an Advanced degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of managerial, supervisory or leadership experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Willingness to work 1st shift, overtime when needed, and respond to off-hours process questions as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the WPB F135 PME team in developing, maintaining, and improving work instructions for engine and module disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing.
• Oversee accurate technical data interpretation, timely workscope definitions, and approval of complex work control documents and dispositions.
• Drive and support standard work, configuration verification, root cause and corrective actions investigations, and continuous process improvements.
• Arrange effective shop support by ensuring the team provides timely technical assistance to operations.
• Manage performance reviews, overtime, timecards, and represent the team in high-level business discussions while onboarding and training the team.
