RTX is seeking a Senior Product Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements on the Pratt & Whitney manufacturing value stream. You will work on PFMEA, Process Maps, Gage R&R and data-driven analysis to boost first-pass yield across a part family.

US citizenship is required for government contracts. The role involves collaboration with process, design, and quality teams, owning manufacturing projects from issue to corrective action, and presenting risk mitigation plans to senior management.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a STEM field with 5+ years of manufacturing experience or a master's with 3+ years of experience.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex blueprints.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct support to the manufacturing shop floor and drive process improvements across multiple steps in the value stream.
• Act as IPT point-of-contact to coordinate with Design, Process, Quality and Structural Engineers for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Identify and manage projects to reduce cost of poor quality and improve capacity.
• Lead process optimization using MRL tools and generate control plans and qualification strategies.
• Leverage PPAP elements to increase First Pass Yield across the value stream.
• Document problem statements, observations, conclusions, calculations and recommendations.
• Communicate risks and mitigation plans to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support project pipeline to prioritize and scope initiatives for throughput improvements.
