Job summary

You will analyze designs, support tooling trials, and drive efficiency using Lean methods while partnering with operations to deliver measurable results.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong communication and collaboration skills, onsite at our Shelby County area facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering in a metal-forming environment.
• Strong CAD skills: AutoCAD/Inventor; CATIA preferred.
• Lean/Kaizen manufacturing experience and ITAR/EAR awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product improvement initiatives and review designs for standards.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop processes for new equipment.
• Conduct time studies, process capability studies, and support tool trials.
• Document work instructions and coordinate cross-functional teams.
