Job summary

Voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation seeks an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its aerospace components facility. You will lead process improvements, review designs for compliance, and collaborate with operations to deliver results.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and strong team collaboration across engineering and shop floors. You will guide tooling tryouts, develop processes for new equipment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while prioritizing safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing or process engineering in a job shop or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of metal forming processes (roll forming, stamping, CNC machining, laser cutting).
• Proficient with CAD tools and MS Project for planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product improvement initiatives and review designs for compliance.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop processes for new equipment.
• Support tooling tryout, development and process validation.
• Collect data, prepare reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
• Drive Lean manufacturing projects to reduce waste and improve profitability.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all manufacturing activities.
• Document work instructions and manage supplier bids when needed.
