Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing/process engineering in a job shop or similar setting.
• Familiarity with metal-forming processes such as roll forming, stamping, CNC, laser cutting.
• Kaizen/Lean manufacturing experience.
• US Person as defined by ITAR & EAR.
• Onsite in Shelbyville, KY area or commutable distance.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and product improvement initiatives and review designs for standards.
• Assist tooling tryout, development, and CNC program trials.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop new processes for equipment.
• Perform time studies, process capability studies and uptime analyses.
• Develop and document part-specific work instructions.
• Coordinate and implement manufacturing process improvements with teams.
