Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) Eastlake is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to optimize DS/SX casting processes for aerospace components. You will work with a team to improve yields, reduce rework, and ensure quality.

The role requires a BS in engineering and at least five years in process engineering, with familiarity in metallurgy and reading complex drawings. Travel is modest; CPP offers competitive pay, benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years' applicable experience in a process-driven engineering role.
• Preferred experience with metallurgy or process engineering within the investment casting industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop metallurgical casting process from gate design to casting parameters.
• Assess DS/SX casting processes and improve yields and product quality.
• Investigate metallurgical failure using root cause analysis.
• Publish reports on research and complete tests using data-based decisions.
• Identify, evaluate and implement new process technologies.
• Routinely audit production lots for repeatability and adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
• Maintain professional work atmosphere and effective communication.
