Pratt & Whitney in Jacksonville is seeking a process/manufacturing engineer to support daily shop floor activities on the F135 depot. You will develop work packages for disassembly, repair, assembly and testing of the F135 engine, using technical data to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• 2+ years of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience (gas-turbine engines preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Willingness to work 1st shift and overtime when needed

Responsabilités

• Provide daily process engineering shop floor support to Pratt & Whitney’s F135 engine depot located at NAS, Jacksonville.
• Develop and maintain process engineering work packages directing disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of the F135 gas-turbine engine.
• Use technical data to plan and generate work instruction packages enabling shop floor operators to meet all workscope and engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with peers across the F135 sustainment network to develop solutions to common problems.
• Investigate process breakdowns, implement corrective actions, create and improve standard work, and support other MRO lines to meet delivery schedules.
