Job summary

A1J Technologies LLC is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for close-tolerance aerospace and defense components in a high-mix environment. You will create complete routings, work with CNC programming, and ensure traceability and compliance throughout production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience in precision machining or high-mix environments.
• Experience developing routings, process plans, and controlled manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings for new and existing products, including operation sequence, work centers, setup/run standards, tooling, fixturing, materials, and outside processing.
• Translate manufacturing-process requirements into machining strategies with CNC Programming collaboration.
• Support tooling, fixtures, work holding, probing, and setup-method development.
• Lead first article/prove-out activities and capture setup/cycle times for standardization.
• Develop process capability analyses (Cp, Cpk, Ppk) for critical characteristics.
• Provide process expertise during nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional readiness reviews and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
