Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Project Engineer, Proposals in Aguadilla, PR. This hybrid role combines on-site collaboration with remote work, focusing on Power and Controls pursuits and leading proposal activities.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Business Development and Program Management to drive timely, compliant submissions and standardization initiatives. Relocation is not offered; Puerto Rico residency is required at start.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
• Proven communication in English (verbal and written)
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information

Responsibilities

• Act as Proposal Lead to manage the process with Engineering, Programs, Production, Quality and Supply Chain
• Lead weekly IPMT meetings with the Integrated Product Team
• Record changes and incidents impacting scope or schedule
• Coordinate formalization of critical customer documentation and changes
• Oversee administrative aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines
• Maintain integrated master schedules and ensure on-time delivery of proposals
• Track pursuits updates in Salesforce
• Review customer requirements and gates preparation
• Coordinate preparation of proposals, budgets and contract terms
