Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology (AIT) is seeking a PLC Electro‑Mechanical Engineering Technician to work at customer sites, supporting production and large aerospace automation systems. You will apply controls, electrical, and electro‑mechanical maintenance techniques, diagnose malfunctions, restore operation, and propose equipment modifications.

You will maintain, test, and repair PLCs, electrical systems, and components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years and/or equivalent experience in PLC and HMI configuration and programming.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
• PLC programming experience is necessary.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Readily understands AIT software and controls architecture to operate independently or with remote SME support.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries or problems.
• Start up and shut down equipment per operation requirements and safety procedures.
• Provide technical support on PLCs and network interfaces on the manufacturing floor.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, NCs, power supplies, drives, HMI and related equipment.
• Receive wiring diagrams and instructions for repair, installation and inspection work.
• Service electronic equipment by testing and replacing faulty components.
• Maintain and install communication and power cables; perform splicing as required.
