Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in the United States is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician 1 (1E) to diagnose and maintain medium to complex automation systems. You will apply advanced electrical and controls expertise while interpreting schematics and troubleshooting PLC-based equipment.

The role requires read/modify of PLC ladder logic, development of basic PLC programs, and collaboration with contractors, OEMs, and integrators to improve machine performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of VFDs and industrial communications.
• Ability to interpret advanced schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Maintenance Technician 1M duties.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls schematics regardless of machine origin.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems, relay logic, safety circuits, sensors, and distributed I/O.
• Diagnose analog and digital control systems.
• Read and modify basic PLC ladder logic.
• Develop basic PLC programs and machine improvements.
• Support CNC routers, conveyors, finishing systems, and woodworking equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, OEMs, suppliers, and integrators.
