Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Plating Operator for the 3rd shift in Santa Ana, CA. You will apply chemical conversion coatings to aerospace and industrial parts, using racking techniques and tank processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading parts, managing chemical additions, and conducting in-process inspections with advanced equipment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced, regulated

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and interpret complex work instructions and blueprints.
Proficient in basic shop math including fractions and decimals.
Skilled with hand tools and precision measurement instruments.
Familiar with tracking plating times and process charts.
Basic computer skills to access process documents.

Responsibilities

Safely operate plating equipment and perform intermediate racking and chromate treatments.
Accurately add chemicals per specifications and maintain logs.
Conduct in-process inspections using X-ray and other tools.
Interpret C-Specs documents and ensure product traceability.
Perform routine maintenance on racking components and support team objectives.
