Job summary

Eaton's IS AER ITD division seeks a Planning Supervisor at the Camarillo, CA site. You will lead Production Planners, align demand with capacity, and maintain lean planning processes to drive service and OTD.

This role includes tactical purchasing and collaboration with SCM, CS, and operations to optimize inventory and performance. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of supervision, with preferred Aerospace planning experience and SAP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• 2 years of direct supervision in a planning/manufacturing environment.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA.
• ITAR compliance: U.S. person as defined by ITAR is required.
• Preferred: 5 years of progressive planning experience in Aerospace or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production Planners to meet inventories, production, and customer service goals.
• Balance demand with manufacturing and supplier capabilities to satisfy customer requirements.
• Manage Master Production Schedule for MRP with desired inventory levels.
• Support SIOP processes and coordinate with Sales and Operations planning.
• Direct team workload, training, and certifications; manage attendance and vacations.
• Develop and report metrics to drive performance improvements.
• Forecast demand and maintain safety stock and finished good inventory levels.
• Create capacity planning models and identify capacity issues for improvement.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to sustain inventory for build schedules via lean processes.
• Drive on-time delivery (OTD) with Customer Service and Shipping; resolve gaps.
• Establish standard work and processes; mentor direct reports toward organizational goals.
• Support division SCM initiatives and project work.
