Job summary

Actalent is seeking a PCB Design Engineer for mission-critical electronics on Merritt Island, FL. You will participate in the full PCB design lifecycle, from schematic capture to board bring-up, using Altium Designer and related tools.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on PCB/CCA experience and a strong foundation in electrical hardware design; aerospace experience is a plus. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position in Merritt Island.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on PCB and CCA design experience.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using professional tools (Altium preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with aerospace, defense, satellite, or high-reliability electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCBs and CCAs for mission-critical systems.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer and other tools.
• Support new designs and modifications to existing hardware.
• Assist with component selection and electrical interfaces for power, digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Work with power, digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Support design reviews, verification activities, and release to manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation and test artifacts.
