Job summary

National Aerospace Processing in Stow, OH, is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to apply primer and topcoat paints to aircraft parts. You will prepare parts, mask them, and operate spray systems to deliver coatings that meet government and customer standards.

The role requires 3+ years of production experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, color matching skills, and strong technical ability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years production experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
• Ability to work from prints, sketches, specifications, and written/verbal instruction.
• Can match or detect differences among colors, including shades of color and brightness.
• Ability to remain steady while moving an arm or while holding arm and hand in position.
• Strong technical and mechanical ability; ability to meet deadlines and plan accordingly.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and medical exams as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Follows NADCAP requirements and prepares and masks parts prior to coating.
• Sets up and operates spray systems and HVLP primers/topcoats.
• Inspects surfaces for defects before and after coating and maintains logs.
• Keeps spray/coating equipment clean and maintains safety protocols, including PPE.
