Job summary

You will set up spray systems, mask parts, inspect coatings, and help maintain equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires 3+ years in aerospace manufacturing, ability to read prints, color matching, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years overall production experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a regulated industry (aerospace).
• Ability to work from prints, sketches, specifications, and written/verbal instruction.
• Can match or detect differences among colors, including shades of color and brightness.
• Ability to remain steady while moving an arm or while holding arm and hand in position.
• See details at close range.

Responsibilities

• Follows NADCAP requirements and prepares/masks parts prior to coating.
• Selects, prepares, and mixes coatings per specifications.
• Sets up and operates spray systems and HVLP primers/topcoats.
• Inspects surfaces visually for defects before and after coating.
• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and disposal of waste per regulations.
• Maintains daily logs and supports Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
