Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Paint Prepper I for its Renton, WA location. The role focuses on surface preparation to ready parts for painting, following customer specifications. Expected to work 4:30AM–2:00PM, Monday–Thursday, with full-time status and DOE pay.

The position involves safety-conscious production work, maintaining documentation, and using hand and pneumatic tools to prepare surfaces for coatings. Prior aerospace exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Capable of meeting production schedules and time allowances.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Intermediate to advanced math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Good eye-hand coordination for precision work.
• Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools safely.
• Ability to weigh and mix chemicals accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation including sanding, taping and cleaning.
• Perform simple rework according to customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Properly dispose of unused chemicals.
