Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Director of Operations to lead two business units with accountability for P&L, budgets, capacity planning, staffing, and cost management. The role emphasizes strategic planning, safety, and regulatory compliance within aerospace manufacturing.

The candidate will drive operational excellence through process optimization, leadership of teams, and strong collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing to meet customer schedules and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or related field is required.
• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5+ years of experience in similar roles or leadership positions is required.

Responsibilities

• Full control of Profit and Loss for two business units.
• Prepare and present budgets with Sales and Finance departments.
• Plan capacity, capital investments, and staffing to support plans.
• Review monthly product costs and adjust to meet budgeted standards.
• Identify trends in non-quality issues and drive corrective actions with Engineering/Manufacturing.
