Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations across five business units at four Connecticut sites. You will manage production, quality, supply chain, procurement, and planning, translating strategy into site-level execution and owning revenue, cost, margin and inventory results.

You will coordinate with headquarters’ leaders in Seoul and drive Lean, ERP, and digital initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required.
Minimum 15 years of progressive aerospace/manufacturing ops experience, with 7+ years in multi-site leadership.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end operations across production, quality, supply chain, procurement and planning.
Experience managing operating results including revenue, cost, margin and inventory.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end manufacturing and operations across five business units at four sites.
Translate strategy into annual operating plans including capacity and staffing.
Establish a common operating system with KPI and Lean/CI practices.
Resolve cross-site capacity constraints and allocate resources accordingly.
Sponsor ERP/digital initiatives spanning multiple sites.
Lead SIOP, master production scheduling, and supplier management.
Own on-time delivery performance and customer scorecards; manage recovery plans.
