Phoenix Logistics LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager for precision manufacturing. The role focuses on building key OEM relationships, converting them into qualified pipelines, and securing long-term orders across aerospace and defense segments.

The candidate will navigate supplier qualification, AS9100/NADCAP processes, and make/buy decisions, while traveling 40–50% to customer sites and Phoenix operations. A proven track record in aerospace account openings is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field accepted.
• 8–12 years of professional experience, with 3–5 years selling precision manufacturing into aerospace/defense.
• Proven track record opening OEM or tier-one accounts and converting to booked orders and revenue.
• Understanding of aerospace OEM supply chain—make/buy decisions, commodity strategy, supplier qualification/audit, supplier scorecards.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, AS9102, and customer-specific quality flow-downs.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% to customer facilities and Phoenix Defense operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own relationships with OEMs and tier-one suppliers to build a qualified pipeline and booked orders.
• Position Phoenix Defense on approved supplier lists and win first-article work.
• Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Program Management on AS9100, NADCAP, AS9102, and quality clauses.
• Manage end-to-end RFP processes, from data package to quote delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with Contracts and Finance; convert qualifications into long-term agreements.
• Grow share of wallet and conduct periodic business reviews with customers.
