Radius Aerospace in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Business Development Director to lead commercial growth for the Phoenix operation. You will own the FY31 growth plan, drive new programs, and expand relationships with OEMs, defense primes, and Tier 1 suppliers.

The role requires 10+ years in aerospace sales, strong strategic and negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate across Engineering, Operations and Finance. You will report to the Phoenix Site President and travel ~30-40%.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace and defense business development or sales.
• At least 5 years owning a book of business with bookings or revenue accountability.
• Proven record of multi-year growth plan and winning new programs.
• Senior relationships with OEMs, defense primes, or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Experience selling engineered, build-to-print hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the Phoenix FY31 growth plan with site leadership.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams with Engineering, Contracts, Finance, and Operations.
• Grow the missile market and new engine business into complex components.
• Manage the customer portfolio and expand programs with existing customers.
• Prepare forecasts and track pipeline data in the enterprise tracking system.
• Negotiate LTAs and pricing consistent with margin objectives.
