Job summary

Phoenix Logistics, LLC seeks a Business Development Manager, Precision Manufacturing to develop and own OEM relationships in aerospace/defense, converting them into a qualified pipeline, quotes, and booked orders. Travel to customer facilities and Phoenix Defense sites is required; prior success with OEM accounts is essential.

The role collaborates with OEM supply chain, sourcing, quality, and program teams to secure long-term agreements and repeat order flow in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience accepted.
• 8–12 years of professional experience, with 3+ years selling precision manufacturing to aerospace/defense customers.
• Proven track record of opening OEM or tier-one accounts and converting to orders and revenue.
• Understanding of aerospace supply chain, make/buy decisions, and supplier qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own relationships with aerospace OEMs and tier-one suppliers to build a qualified pipeline.
• Drive opportunities across build-to-print/spec machining, fabrication, and assembly with end-to-end quoting.
• Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Program Management to meet AS9100/NADCAP and customer quality clauses.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery, transitioning awarded work to programs and operations.
