Job summary

Ontic in Creedmoor, NC is seeking an OE Technician to join our on-site team. You will report to the Cell Manager and perform calibration, troubleshooting, test and/or inspection of electromechanical products, following work instructions.

Qualifications include an associate degree in electronics or equivalent military training, plus 2 years in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment. Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multi-meters and other test equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent military training.
• Minimum 2 years in an electro-mechanical or electronic test environment.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and write test procedures.
• Proficiency with test, inspection and calibration equipment.
• Hands-on manufacturing/shop floor experience.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Calibration, troubleshooting, test and/or inspection of electromechanical products.
• Assembly following work instructions and acquiring necessary certifications.
• Work with LRU electronics, PCB/modules and wiring.
• Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and meters.
• Maintain documentation and records in a timely manner.
• Assist engineering with troubleshooting non-conforming units.
• In-line and final inspection of units/assemblies.
• Maintain test production equipment and fixtures; soldering as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide positive solutions.
• Support and resolve issues with test equipment from transition group.
• Meet manufacturing KPIs set by supervisor.
