Job summary

Ontic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for on-site work in Creedmoor, NC. You will report to the Production Supervisor and support assembly, testing, and calibration of heavy duty IPNCs with emphasis on reliability.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with engineering to resolve issues while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics field or equivalent military training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical or electronic test environment.
• Must read blueprints, troubleshoot from schematics, and assist in writing test procedures.
• Proficient in use of test, inspection, and calibration equipment.
• Hands-on manufacturing/shop floor experience; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts into sub-assemblies, units, or systems for IPNCs electronic product.
• Troubleshoot and rework units that fail tests.
• Perform tests using test equipment and drawings or CAD blueprints.
• Complete and maintain documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist engineering in troubleshooting non-conforming units.
• Maintain and calibrate test production equipment and fixtures.
