Seal Dynamics is seeking a New Product Sourcing Specialist for its New Product Development Group (NPDG) in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on identifying and qualifying suppliers, engaging early with NPI, and managing RFQs/RFPs to support new product introductions.

Ideal candidates have a engineering/data analytics background with 3+ years in aerospace procurement, knowledge of AS9100, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Some travel to suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
3+ years in new product development, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within aerospace.
Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA aerospace quality requirements.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships effectively.

Responsabilités

Source and qualify suppliers for new components, materials, and assemblies.
Engage with engineering and NPI early for manufacturability, lead time, and cost targets.
Coordinate NDA execution and manage RFQs/RFPs.
Evaluate sourcing risks and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
Research aircraft technical publications for required documentation (IPC’s, AMM’s, CMM’s).
Coordinate sourcing activities to meet program milestones and customer deliverables.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality to ensure supplier performance.
Drive supplier readiness with AS9100 and process controls.
