Job summary

Seal Dynamics LLC seeks a New Product Sourcing Specialist in Tampa, FL to drive supplier identification and qualification for new components and assemblies. You will partner with engineering, NPI, and project teams to optimize the supply base, manage NDA/RFP processes, and support cost targets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in aerospace sourcing, strong Excel and ERP/MRP skills, and a proactive, data-driven mindset to mitigate risks and ensure on-time delivery in a dynamic NPI environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in new product development, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within aerospace or precision manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and FAA aerospace quality requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and sourcing analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify suppliers for new components, materials, and assemblies.
• Engage with engineering and NPI teams early in product development for manufacturability and cost targets.
• Coordinate NDA execution for new suppliers and manage RFQs/RFPs.
• Evaluate sourcing risks, implement mitigation, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate sourcing activities with NPI, engineering and project team to meet milestones.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier performance meets standards.
• Drive supplier readiness for new product introduction including AS9100 compliance.
