Job summary

Hytek Finishes is seeking an Aerospace NAS410 NDT Inspector trainee for the 2nd shift in Kent, WA. You will advance toward Level II certification in MP and Penetrant while performing NDT inspections per military and OEM specs.

You will join a safety‑conscious team with comprehensive benefits and training, including tuition reimbursement and paid holidays. FAA DOT drug testing applies as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must pass written and practical examinations.
• Ability to train and positively influence others.
• Self-starter and able to work independently or in a team with customers.
• Lean tools and techniques knowledge to solve problems.
• Must Read/Write/Communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced Inspectors and NDT Level III Responsible to complete tasks.
• Follow technique cards, POs, and instructions from experienced NDT Inspectors; ensure Operator Self Verification is done.
• Review paperwork and inspections; notify supervisor/QA if errors.
• Prepare parts prior to operations; use proper tooling and fixtures.
• Familiar with QA requirements and rework procedures.
• Familiar with engineering drawings and notations.
• Develop new product processing and identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost productivity, delivery, and service.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demand.
• Cross-train in other production areas as needed.
