Hytek Finishes Co. in Kent, WA is seeking an Aerospace NDT Assistant for the 1st shift to support Level I/II NDT Inspectors.

The role involves loading, running, and unloading ovens for stress bakes and vapor degreasing, while maintaining a daily bake schedule and coordinating with NDT and plating departments. The position requires learning FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing participation and adherence to Military and OEM specifications, with pre-employment drug testing, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Regular and dependable attendance
• Ability to read/write English with others
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; export license may be required in some areas

Responsibilities

• Assist Level I/II NDT Inspectors in tasks and prioritize workload
• Follow shop travelers, technique cards, POs, and inspectors’ instructions
• Review paperwork for completion and notify supervisor or QA of errors
• Prepare parts for operations including cleaning
• Meet pre/post cleaning surface finish requirements
• Follow QA requirements and safety procedures
