Job summary

Hytek Finishes is seeking an Aerospace NDT Inspector (2nd Shift) in Kent, WA. The role starts as an Inspector Trainee, with certification in Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant to be earned under Hytek’s program.

Onsite shifts run 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., with an established benefits package and career development opportunities. Applicants must hold NAS410 Level II in at least one discipline and be prepared to join FAA testing programs.

Qualifications

• Must pass Written and Practical examinations to Hytek certifications.
• Trainees will become NDT Certified Inspectors through Hytek’s training program.
• Must join FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program and pass initial/annual Industrial Eye Exam.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced Inspectors to complete tasks and prioritize work.
• Follow technique cards and customer orders; ensure Operator Self Verification is complete.
• Review paperwork and inspections; notify supervisor/QA of errors.
• Prepare parts prior to operations; use proper tooling and fixtures.
