Job summary

Voyager Technologies, based in Pittsburgh, is seeking an NDT Inspector/Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to lead and oversee NDT operations in the MI&T team. The role focuses on qualifying personnel, writing procedures, and supporting internal and external audits.

The candidate will work with engineering, quality, and production to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory codes, performing RT, VT, PT, and UT inspections while reviewing WPS, PQR, and WPQ records and maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection and NDT.
• Level II RT certification per ASNT or NAS-410.
• Experience with ASME Section V, VIII, IX, API 1104, API 650, or AWS D17.1.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for NDT methods and support manufacturing processes.
• Perform NDT inspections: RT, VT, PT, UT.
• Prepare and approve NDT procedures and related work instructions.
• Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and WPQ records.
• Maintain inspection reports and identify corrective actions.
