Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Non-Destructive Inspection Technician in Fallon, NV to inspect aircraft, engines and ground support equipment using radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current and other NDI methods.

The successful candidate must be NAS-410 Level II certified, DoD NDI School trained, with 3+ years of recent NDI experience, and able to work day, night, or weekend shifts. Amentum offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Graduation from DoD NDI School or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years NDI experience in last 8 years with NAS-410 Level II.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDI of aircraft, engines and ground support equipment using radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current, penetrant, magnetic particle and optical methods.
• Notifty maintenance of defects and document findings on forms.
• Operate CAMS computers and maintain NDI equipment and tools.
• Comply with safety, housekeeping, tool control and FOD programs.
