Job summary

Boeing in St. Louis is seeking a Materials and Process Technology professional to support coating application, surface prep robotics, production equipment, and paint process development across defense and weapons programs.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to implement robotics and manufacturing technologies that reduce cost and improve quality, while ensuring compliance and readiness for security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of aerospace or large-scale manufacturing experience.
• U.S. citizen or ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supports coating application/surface prep robotics/automation and paint process development.
• Supports operations across paint operations for multiple programs.
• Applies engineering and scientific principles to design efforts and cost reduction.
• Reviews engineering documents and supports design reviews for equipment/ processes.
• Evaluates novel technologies for business needs.
• Performs assessments on technologies proposed or procured for production.
• Works with engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to implement process improvements.
