Vantor is seeking an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to develop tools supporting ISR studies for government and commercial customers. You will build and enhance simulation capabilities, data processing workflows, analysis applications, and visualization tools for future space, airborne, and sensor systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as CS, SE, AE, EE, ME, Math, Physics.
• Advanced degree preferred (MS/PhD).
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with aerospace systems and simulation environments.
• Willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools for aerospace modeling and data visualization.
• Add new features to high-fidelity simulators for space, airborne, ISR systems.
• Design modular software architectures for new features and reusable workflows.
• Develop scripts, APIs, and data pipelines for scenario generation and analysis.
• Work with engineers and customers to translate mission needs into software solutions.
• Build efficient data processing and visualization workflows for large datasets.
• Improve simulator performance, usability, and automation.
• Perform debugging, verification, validation, and QA of tools and results.
• Apply modern software engineering practices: VCS, testing, docs, code reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and own independent tasks.
